Scouts in Troop 45 participate in a wide range of exciting, hands-on activities throughout the year. These adventures build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong skills—all while having fun.
From weekend trips to longer excursions, we spend plenty of time around the campfire, learning essential outdoor skills and building strong patrol bonds.
We hit local trails and parks for thrilling rides that challenge scouts physically and encourage perseverance and grit.
Scouts learn climbing techniques and safety skills at indoor gyms and outdoor crags, building both courage and trust.
Under strict safety supervision, scouts practice marksmanship and precision—learning focus, patience, and responsibility.
From lake days to swimming merit badge training, scouts enjoy the water while building skills in safety, endurance, and water confidence. Water-based fun often includes tubing and wakeboarding during summer trips.
Each winter, our scouts hit the slopes for a thrilling day of skiing or snowboarding—an opportunity to try something new or sharpen their skills on the mountain.
Teamwork and creative thinking are the keys to solving puzzles and bonding as a troop during fun indoor outings.
Giving back to our community is core to who we are. Scouts take part in cleanup days, food drives, flag ceremonies, and more.
From traditional summer camp at Camp Grimes to high-adventure opportunities like Sea Base and Philmont, scouts challenge themselves and make lifelong memories.
Scouting with Troop 45 is full of friendships, challenges, and unforgettable experiences. Whether you’re brand new to Scouting or transferring from another troop, we’d love to welcome you.
