Arthur Lynn Snuggs
July 19, 1956 — September 7, 2024
Lynn Snuggs dedicated over four decades of his life to mentoring young men through Scouting. As Scoutmaster of Troop 45 for more than 40 years, Lynn led by example—camping in all seasons, encouraging character and leadership, and living by the Scout Oath and Law. Under his guidance, dozens of young men achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and countless others grew into capable, confident, and kind adults.
Lynn was more than a Scoutmaster—he was a role model, a servant leader, and a pillar of the Steele Creek community. He was an Eagle Scout, a recipient of the prestigious Silver Beaver Award, a longtime Duke Energy engineer, and an active elder and deacon at Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church. Lynn embodied the spirit of Scouting in every part of his life.
