The Highest Rank in Scouting
The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America. Fewer than 2% of Scouts earn this prestigious rank—a reflection of the dedication, leadership, and service required. To achieve Eagle, a Scout must earn at least 21 merit badges, serve in leadership roles, and complete a major community service project. It is a journey that takes years of commitment and character.
